Born in Virginia Beach, VA with eye-for-design and detail parents, I was bound to be a creative.
My name is Danielle...
I thrive off genuine people & moments. What I mean by that is I am my best when the comfort exists for everyone to be themselves, mess & all. The moments that inspire me most are the real & raw. On the road, I love the time behind the wheel, getting to know the person next to me, just as much as the trails and breathtaking views.
I geek out over the ability to create what has never existed before & love the challenges that come with that. I'm the person constantly on the edge of her seat for what awaits around the next bend in the road. Sometimes it's a postcard overlook, sometimes it's a tow truck -- either way it keeps life interesting, the latter just makes for a good story.
Throughout my collegiate (University of Wisconsin) and professional volleyball career, I have taken any break away from training as an opportunity to travel and create. They say that travel broadens & I wholeheartedly agree. Cross-country road trips quickly became my favorite form of travel, introducing me to the beauty of the west. I find the simple lifestyle that comes with living out of my jeep addicting. The mind is only focused on the task at hand --- warmth, a place to sleep, or the setting of the sun. Be it the bay I grew up on or the sandstone canyons of the Utah desert, to be out amongst it is a grounding practice for me as those days inspire the life I want to live, often introduce new perspectives, & act as the strongest reminders of my values.
